Migrate From Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

Before migrate to Ubuntu Maverick, we have to aware that Ubuntu Maverick now just started and very basic development and many feature may now works when we migrate now.

Here are the way to migrate from Lucid to Maverick Markeet :

Replace any "lucid" to "Maverick" in source.list. by typing on terminal :

sudo sed -i 's/lucid/maverick/g' /etc/apt/sources.list && sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude dist-upgrade

And then run the next command to replace "Lucid" to "Maverick" :

sudo aptitude install update-manager-core

enter...

sudo do-release-upgrade -d
